Glad to learn that we survived the Apocalypse and still given the chance to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s eve with family and friends and most of all… still given the chance for new starts 🙂
At First Sight so far.. can’t wait to finish her and getting ready for new starts!!
One more check-in and we will prove the Mayans are wrong. Cross my fingers 🙂
I have a partial finish. YAY!!!!
Gay Parasol from The Silver Lining. Done on 25ct 1 over 1. I have to change some colors since I can’t use blended colors while stitching 1 over 1.
Joyce is back!
And some shopping Picture This Plus fabrics…
Da Vinci on 18ct Aida
Splash on 18ct Aida
Chrystal Jade on 32ct Lugana
Chrystal Haunted on 40ct Newcastle
Enough is enough if you have stitched 10.000 stitches using 310 aka black…
Luckily it is with tent stitch, otherwise, I’ll be blind.
Next, back to At First Sight 😉
Unbelievable that I’ve been busy with her for 7 months…
I think I need some refreshing this month… 🙂
Again.. too late as usual.. but she has …..
Close – up:
And for all mothers out there:
A very very late one.. sorry….
But HEY an update is an update 🙂
At First Sight… missing 1 color… and getting into her hair ornament.
Second one, Iris, mostly neglected, but still able to squeeze in some stitches..
And these are Mini Mandala’s from Chatelaine that I’ve finished some times ago and just figured it out on how to “use”it.
Loaded with threads for At First Sight:
Last but not least… a new start.. again 🙂
Zomerboeket in het groen from Jan Houtman. I am using several different stitches on this one.
Here is the progress of Iris.
I stitch it on 30ct Black Florentia from Passione Ricamo.
Surprisingly the rayon thread is not that difficult to handle, they are slippery but they don’t create static or make your hands rough like silk.
I only stitch this piece on day light, the problem is that the rayon is so shiny that if I use my OTT light then my eyes get tired easily. DH jokingly said that I might need to stitch with a ray-ban sunglasses 🙂
Due to some technical problems, I can only scan my stitching and the picture does not do justice to the shiny rayon.
Lady Alexandra update.
I am so happy that the stitches sit pretty on the woven Jacquard stripe.
I wonder how the beads will behave…
